The XXIII Russian Volleyball Cup tournament in memory of Konstantin Kuzmich Reva was held from November 26 to December 13, 2015 with the participation of 15 Russian teams and one team from Belarus . The winner of the Cup for the second year in a row and the fifth time in history was Kazan “Zenith” ^[1] .

Competition System

The Cup was held in two stages. The tournament was attended by 14 teams of the Russian Super League and two teams that received a wild card from the All-Russian Volleyball Federation - Lokomotiv-Emerald from the Premier League A and the Belarusian champion Stroitel .

At the preliminary stage, the teams were divided into 4 groups by the “snake” in accordance with their position in the 2014/15 Russian Championship ^[2] . The final stage, which was held in the format of the “Final Four”, went to the winners of the preliminary stage groups. The draw for the semifinal pairs took place on December 1 ^[3] .
