Story
Everyone knows that as soon as morning comes, adults and kids should wash themselves. So in the courtyard where the pets live, the time has come for this procedure. Without exception, they wash their faces and brush their teeth. Observe the rules of hygiene and chickens and cows, and cats and dogs, and even a small pig tries to stay clean. Only one animal does not want to take water procedures and brush its teeth, but wants to remain dirty - a small calf, for which the mother cow punished. He does not want to give in to washing, and for this the animals make fun of the dirt, calling him "inconspicuous." But having decided, at first with reluctance, the calf nevertheless redeemed with great joy, becoming clean again. Everyone in the yard was delighted with this, and the calf itself again made peace with his mother.

- At the beginning of the 1960s, in the Ukrainian animation at the young Kievnauchfilm studio, the so-called classic "Disney" style prevailed, which spent a significantly short time.
| “We didn’t really know and were not able then,” recalls Yevgeny Sivokon, director of the Ukranimafilm studio (it was founded in the early years of independence on the basis of the studio at Kyivnauffilm). - But we had courage, we were revolutionaries and innovators. We wanted to overthrow Disney himself. The business of animation in Ukraine has always been kept mostly on the courage. Actually, the word "animator" itself means "revitalizing, breathing life." Future masters studied with the older generation - Ippolit Lazarchuk (he was the head of the studio at that time), Nina Vasilenko, Irina Gurvich and each other. Of great help, according to their recollections, were pirated copies of Disney and Yugoslav cartoons. They were viewed several times on the pasteboard, scrolling the tape either slower or faster. - We delved into how this was done. On the one hand, they wanted to learn how to work the way they did, and on the other, they wanted to bring something of their own and be better, ”says Eduard Kirich, an artist at Ukranimafilm studio. |
