Regina Hildebrandt ( him. Regine Hildebrandt , nee. Radishevski ( Radischewski ); April 26, 1941 , Berlin - November 26, 2001 , Woltersdorf ) - German biologist and politician, member of the Social Democratic Party. Minister of Labor and Public Affairs of the GDR in 1990.

Biography
Regina Hildebradt studied at a Berlin school, did not join SSNM and therefore hardly got a place at Berlin University , where she studied biology in 1959-1964. In 1968 she defended her doctoral thesis. After completing her studies, she worked for 15 years in the quality control department of VEB Berlin-Chemie, then she started working with diabetic patients. In 1966 she married journalist Jörg Hildebrandt .
In 1989, on the wave of democratic transformations in the GDR, Hildebrandt participated in the civic movement Democracy Now , which united Christian socialists and critical Marxists, and on October 12, 1989, she joined the SPD in the GDR . At the first free elections, she was elected a deputy to the People's Chamber of the GDR . In the first democratically elected government of the GDR, led by Lothar de Maisiere, Regina Hildebrandt held the position of Minister of Labor and Public Affairs from April to August 1990. Later elected to the board of the SPD .
In the autumn of 1990, Hildebrandt joined the Brandenburg Land Government with the rank of Minister of Labor, Public Affairs, Health and Women. She resigned as minister after the elections to the Brandenburg Landtag in the fall of 1999.
In July 1996, Breast Cancer was diagnosed by Regina Hildebrandt, and in 2001 she died at the age of 60. She was buried at the Forest Cemetery in Woltersdorf. Since 2007, the name Regina Hildebrandt bears a park in the Hellersdorf district of Berlin.
