Biography
Vladimir Gliki was born on July 10, 1847. He was educated at the 3rd Moscow gymnasium , which he graduated with a gold medal in 1864, and at the medical faculty of Moscow University . At the end of the course with honors and with a gold medal for the essay: β On the Identity of Mesh Shells β (1869), he was at the same university a supernumerary assistant at the Department of Physiology and Privatdocent (1875-1887) [1] .
In 1876, V. G. Gliki received a doctorate in medicine in defense of the dissertation: β On the question of the electrical excitability of the large brain β ( Moscow , 1876) [1] .
Vladimir Georgievich Gliki died on February 17, 1887 in the city of Moscow and was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery [1] .
He published an article in β Eckard's BeitrΓ€ge β (B. VII, N. 3): β On the ways in which the excitation of the so-called psychomotor centers in the brain is distributed β (1876) [1] .
