Jürgen Kledich ( German: Jürgen Kleditzsch ; born January 26, 1944 , Bad Schandau ) is a German doctor and politician. Former member of the Christian Democratic Union . Minister of Health of the GDR in 1990.

Biography
In 1962, Jürgen Kledich received a certificate of maturity and in 1962-1963 he studied as a nurse. In 1963-1969 he studied at the medical faculty of the University of Leipzig , where he defended his doctoral dissertation. In 1969-1974 he passed specialization as a physiotherapist , later as an orthopedist .
In 1974-1989, he worked at the Dresden Medical Academy , headed the physiotherapy department at the Orthopedic Clinic, and since 1978, he was the head physician. In 1985 he became an assistant professor, in 1987 - a professor. Since 1988, he led several work and research teams. Since 1972, he was a member of the board of the GDR Physiotherapy Society, in 1979 he was elected secretary of the Society.
In 1977, Kledich joined the Christian Democratic Union in the GDR . In March 1990, Kledich was elected to the GDR People’s Chamber . From April 1990 to October 2, 1990, he served as Minister of Health, and from August 1990, also Minister of Labor and Public Affairs . Since October 3, 1990 he was a deputy of the Bundestag . In 2002, he left the CDU. He currently works as a specialist doctor in Neu-Ulm .
