Nguyen Lan Tuat ( Vietnamese. Nguyễn Lân Tuất ; January 7, 1935, Hanoi , French Indochina - April 29, 2014, Novosibirsk , Russia ), also known in Russia as Nguyen Lantuat Lanovich or simply Lantuat [1] - composer , member of the RF IC (1988) ) and Vietnam (2002), Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation (2001), Ph.D. (1980), Doctor of Cultural Studies (2009), Professor (1998), Department of Composition, Novosibirsk State Conservatory .

Biography
Born in French Indochina , was a member of the First Resistance War , at the age of 16 he was awarded the Vietnamese silver medal of Victory.
In 1959 he was sent to study in the USSR, studied at the TKF Lviv Conservatory. In 1970 he graduated from the LOLGK composer faculty with the class of professors B. A. Arapov and A. D. Mnatsakanyan, in 1980 - graduate school of LGITMiK (supervisors - professors I. I. Zemtsovsky and B. A. Smirnov).
In 1971-1984 taught at the college of arts and the institute of arts of ufa. Since 1984, Nguyen Lantuat has worked at the Department of Composition of the NHC, taught a special course, "Orchestra and score."
The composer's work of Nguyen Lantuate is multifaceted, includes an oratorio, cantatas, piano, vocal and instrumental cycles, but the central place is occupied by 4 symphonies - “A Premonition of Civil War”, “My Homeland”, “Dreams of a Sentenced” and “To a Distant Beloved”. In his work, Nguyen Lantoat organically combines the features of classical European music with elements of traditional Vietnamese musical culture [2] .
The scientific activity of Nguyen Lanthua is connected with the problems of the traditional theater of Vietnam, the theme of the Ph.D. He is the author of the monograph Traditional Vietnam Theater. He regularly appeared in the periodical press, on the TV channel "Culture-NTK" he conducted the author's program about music and musicians. Nguyen Lantuat was a member of the Presidium of the Novosibirsk Professor’s Assembly, a member of the Rotary Club international charitable organization, and president of the Vietnam Fellowship in the Siberian District.
Nguyen Lantuat died on April 29, 2014 in Novosibirsk [3] .
