Biography
Born in 1902 in the village of Kukharevo . In military service since 1920. Member of the Civil War. Member of the CPSU since 1924. He graduated from the Military-Political Academy named after V.I. Lenin.
Before the Great Patriotic War he was the head of the Poltava military-political school. At the beginning of the war - the head of the political department of the Central Front . Awarded the title of “Major General” 12/06/42. From September 1941 to the end of the war, he was a member of the Military Council of the 13th Army [2] [3] . Member of the Battle of Kursk [4] .
After the war, Lieutenant General M.A. Kozlov was in charge of military-political work. From September 1949 to 1950 - Deputy Commander of the Leningrad Military District for political affairs. In 1950-1957 - the head of the Military-Political Academy. V.I. Lenin .
