It started on October 2, 1991 at the Soyuz TM-13 spacecraft. The tenth long-term expedition at the Mir station. Along with him, the crew included Alexander Volkov - the commander and Toktar Aubakirov - an astronaut-researcher, the first astronaut originally from Kazakhstan (the last Soviet astronaut). Franz Fiebeck is an astronaut-researcher. On October 10, Aubakirov and Fibek returned to Earth on the Soyuz TM-12 , the commander during the landing was Anatoly Artsebarsky .

Fiebeck lives in Berndorf, Austria. He is married, has a daughter - Karina, was born during his space mission [1] .
