The Air Force of the 2nd Shock Army (Air Force 2 UdA) is the operational aviation formation of the Great Patriotic War .

Formation
The air forces of the 2nd Shock Army began forming on October 24, 1941 on the basis of imparting aviation units simultaneously with the formation of the 2nd Shock Army [1] as part of the Supreme Command Headquarters reserve in the Volga Military District ( MASSR , CHASSR and other subjects of the RSFSR ) based on units and compounds of the 26th army . The Air Force of the 26th Army at that time included the 704th Light Bomber Aviation Regiment , which became part of the Air Force of the 2nd Shock Army.
On December 18, 1941, the army was incorporated into the Volkhov front and began to develop in the Zelenschina, Malaya Vishera, Novaya, Posad, Vycherem, Moschchanitsa areas, and the army headquarters was located in Falkovo. On December 25, 1941, the army was renamed the 2nd Shock Army [2] .
Disbanding

2nd Air Force Commander Air Force
