Algolsheim ( fr. Algolsheim ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , Colmar - Ribauville , canton Ensysheim [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Nöf Brizak ( Colmar County).

In 2010, out of 797 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 603 were economically active , 194 inactive (activity indicator 75.7%, in 1999 - 74.9%). Of the 603 active able-bodied residents, 553 people worked (284 men and 269 women), 50 were unemployed (22 men and 28 women). Among 194 able-bodied inactive citizens, 67 were pupils or students , 64 - pensioners , and another 63 - were inactive due to other reasons [8] [9] .
