The State Treasury Institution of the Tver Region "Tver Center for Documentation of Recent History" (GKU TTsDNI) is one of the largest archival institutions in the Tver Region , which manages, stores, records and uses documents from the Archive Fund of the Tver Region , as well as other archival documents. History
The history of GKU TCDNI is associated with the activities of the bureau (department) of the history of the party (party) under the Tver Provincial Committee, later at the Kalinin Regional Committee of the CPSU (b) and the party archive of the Kalinin Regional Committee of the CPSU (b) - the CPSU .
Eastpart was created in February 1922 under the Tver Provincial Committee of the RCP (B.) In order to study and popularize the history of the revolutionary movement and the Communist Party . [1] In fact, he laid the foundation for the formation of a set of party documents in the Tver province , was engaged in the publication of historical materials, exhibition work. In 1929 - 1930 in connection with the change in the administrative-territorial division, the Istpart was part of the Tver district committee of the CPSU (b) . In 1930 - 1934 as an integral part of the party organs did not exist. From December 1934 to June 1935, work on the direction of the party was carried out by the representative of the Institute of Party History at the Moscow City Committee of the CPSU (b) and the Moscow Committee of the CPSU (b) in the Kalinin District. After the formation of the Kalinin region in January 1935 from mid-1935 to mid-1936, there was a post of the senior worker of the Kalinin regional committee of the CPSU (B.) . Since June 1936, as part of the regional committee, the Eastpart functioned as an independent department. It was liquidated in January 1940. [2]
The party archive was formed at the Kalinin Regional Committee of the CPSU (B.) On January 8, 1936. [3] Throughout the entire period of its activity from 1936 to 1991, the party archive completed the collection, storage, systematization and accounting of party documents (since 1917). and Komsomol (since 1919) bodies and organizations of the Tver province - Kalinin region . In 1940, the party archive received documents of the liquidated Istpart and the materials it collected on the history of the revolutionary movement.
During the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. part of the documents of the party archive was evacuated to Tyumen , some of the documents remained in Kalinin occupied by the Germans. A significant number of documents were damaged or died, for example, most of the documents of the Kalinin regional committee of the CPSU (b) before the war, the current archives of the district party bodies of the Kalinin region .
After the war, the partarchive was replenished with documents of the Headquarters of the partisan movement of the Kalinin region , later - documents of personal origin (memoirs, letters of participants in the revolutionary movement, civil war , World War II , etc.), a collection of photographs.
Initially, the partarchive was located in the building of the Church of the Three Confessors (Resurrection Church) in Kalinin , and later - in a two-story building in the city center.
At the end of 1976 - the beginning of 1977, the partarchive moved to the seven-story standard building that was specially built for him by decision and at the expense of the Kalinin Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union , which currently houses the State Public Institution of Culture and Culture of Central Scientific Center. The Tver Center for Documentation of Recent History was created on the basis of the party archive by order of the Head of the Administration of the Tver Region V.A. Suslov November 18, 1991 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the RSFSR B.N. Yeltsin on August 24, 1991 "On party archives." [5] The Center entered the system of the state archival service of the Russian Federation and became subordinate to the archival department of the administration of the Tver region (currently - the Archival department of the Tver region ). After state registration in March 2003, the center acquired the status of a legal entity and was renamed the State Institution “Tver Center for Documentation of Recent History” (TCDNI). Based on the order of the Government of the Tver region of November 3, 2011 No. 241-rp, the State Treasury Institution of the Tver Region "Tver Center for Documentation of Recent History" (GKU TTsDNI) was created.
Structure
Currently, the structure of GKU TCDNI is formed by departments and sectors:
1) the department of preservation, state registration of documents of the Archival Fund of the Tver region and other archival documents;
2) the acquisition department of the Archival Fund of the Tver Region and departmental archives;
3) the sector of information work and the creation of information retrieval systems;
4) the department of technical maintenance, fire safety and logistics.
Funds
According to the data as of January 1, 2015, 6685 funds, 1214415 units of custody, are in state custody in the State Public Institution of TCCDI. mainly from 1917 to the present. There are some documents of the pre-Soviet period, starting from the end of the XIX century.
The following documents are in storage at GKU TTsDNI:
1) bodies, organizations and institutions of the Communist Party and the Komsomol ;
2) The headquarters of the partisan movement of the Kalinin region ;
3) local bodies of state power and administration (the Legislative Assembly , the administration of the Tver region and its units (departments, administrations, committees), election commissions);
4) governing bodies, institutions and enterprises of the national economy operating in the territory of the Tver region ;
5) governing bodies and institutions of the socio-cultural sphere (hospitals, universities, research and development institutions);
6) public organizations, associations, political parties, movements;
7) about 57 thousand criminal investigation cases against repressed citizens and filtering and verification cases filed for state storage from the operational archive of the former KGB Directorate for the Kalinin Region ;
8) scientific, design, engineering, cartographic and other special documentation;
9) copies of newspapers published in the Tver province - Kalinin region , for 1905 - 1991;
10) phonophotodocuments.
GKU TCDNI is also completed with documents on the personnel of liquidated state and non-state (with a predominant share of state ownership) enterprises, organizations and associations, and continues to compile documents of personal origin. There are diaries, letters, memoirs of veterans of the Great Patriotic War , workers of science, culture, sports, etc. stored in the GKU TCDNI. One of the notable documents of the GKU TCDNI is the diary of Anna Alexandrovna Zhdanova, the sister of Andrei Alexandrovich Zhdanov , dated 1910.
