Kale Poti is a feudal castle subordinate to the captain of Gothia . The ruins of the fortress are on top of a rocky hill, located by the sea on the eastern edge of the village of Partenit, Big Alushta .
Fortress walls 1.25 - 1.3 m thick encircled the top of the cliff around the entire perimeter. They are made of buta on a sand-lime mortar. On the northeastern and southeastern defense sites were two quadrangular towers (7 x 6.8 and 6 x 6 m.). The area of the fortification is about 800 m².
Near the fortress, on the slopes of Tepeler hill, are the remains of a settlement of the 13th-15th centuries.
In the castle at the end of the 14th – 15th centuries there could have been a consul in Partenit of the Republic of Genoa , which at that time owned the coast. In another opinion, it was the citadel or Kremlin Partenita , i.e. the aristocratic part of the settlement, fortified with walls and towers, around which there was a posad (Torzhische).
