Biography
He graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the 2nd Moscow State University (1931) and until 1941 worked as an assistant, Art. teacher, director of the central correspondence department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin . Since 1941, part-time senior lecturer at the Department of General Physics of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of PSPI Professor of the Department of Experimental Physics and Solid-State Physics of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys .
- In 1956 he organized an ultrasound laboratory at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys .
- Under the supervision of Agranat at the Novo-Lipetsk Metallurgical Plant, the largest in the USSR automated line for ultrasonic cleaning of strip steel in the flow was created.
- He is one of the authors of the method of increasing the intensity of ultrasonic cavitation by carrying out processes under high static pressure, which made it possible to significantly expand the area of technological application of ultrasound.
