Biography
In 1987, Cholosh received a bachelor's degree in agricultural secondary school in Shimleu-Silvania, in 1994 - a higher education at the Faculty of Horticultural Engineering and Horticulture of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of the city of Cluj-Napoca. In 1996 he received a certificate in environmental agronomy at the École nationale supérieure agronomique de Rennes , in 1997 - a diploma in agricultural development courses of the Higher National School of Agronomic Sciences and the University of Montpellier, and in October 2005 - a certificate of agricultural trading courses of the World Bank Institute and University of Rome.
In 1991-1996, Choloche trained on organic farms in the French region of Brittany . In the summer of 1995, he prepared an agricultural development project between Savoy and Arges . In the same year, Cholosh became a consultant in the field of socio-economic analysis of agriculture in the County of Arges . In 1997, he was an intern at the European Commission's Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development. In 1998-1999, Cholos led the development program for the local areas of Arges, in 1999-2001 he was the coordinator of bilateral cooperation projects in the field of development of local agriculture in Romania. In 2002-2003, he was part of the European Commission delegation in Romania, helped to implement the SAPARD program in Romania.
Prime Minister
In November 2015, after a fire at Colectiv Club, Prime Minister Viktor Ponta resigned, and President Klaus Johannis appointed Cholos as his successor. The latter proposed the creation of a technocratic cabinet of twenty-one ministers, a third of which would be occupied by women.
On November 17, 2015, the parliament voted in favor of a new cabinet, and on the evening of the same day, the Cholosh government was sworn in [1] .
Aftertime
In 2018, he founded the Movement for the Future of Romania, with which he won the European Parliament elections. Since the summer of 2019, the head of the liberal democratic fraction Renewing Europe .
