Biography
Born on July 8, 1908 in the city of Yazak on the territory of Austria-Hungary (now the Irig community) of the Autonomous Region of Vojvodina of the Republic of Serbia in a family of peasants Dimitri and Mileva [4] .
He served in the Yugoslav royal army , captain of the reserve. He was tonsured a monk in 1934, since 1936 the hieromonk and the abbot of the Tronos monastery.
In August 1941, Boich was drafted into the ranks of the Serbian Chetniks of the Drazhi Mikhailovich . He commanded the Yadar Chetnik detachment, which later became a brigade. He fought in the battles for Loznitsa and Banya-Kovilyach [2] . Among the Chetniks he was known as "Gigio" ( Serbian. "KiЏo" ) [2] or "Gigi" ( Serbian. "KiЏa" ) [3] . It is sung in the song “Oј Rachiћu sensibly soundly" [5] , dedicated to the Chetnik colonel Dragoslav Racic [5] .
In December 1945, he was arrested by the Yugoslav authorities, after three and a half months of imprisonment, he was convicted and sentenced to death [6] . The sentence was executed on April 8, 1946 in аabac at the Doni Shorsky cemetery [7] .
