Biography
He graduated from the Oryol Mechanical Engineering Institute (1938), courses at the Military-Political Academy. V.I. Lenin (1939), higher academic courses for the improvement of political personnel at the VPA of them. V.I. Lenin (1956).
In the service in the Red Army since 1939, political worker. From June 1941 - Assistant Chief of the Political Directorate of the Kharkov Military District for the Komsomol.
During the Great Patriotic War, participated in hostilities from September 1942 to May 1945. The head of the Political Department of the 28th Army for work among the troops and the enemy population - Stalingrad, Southern, 4th and 3rd Ukrainian, 1st and 3rd Belorussian, 1st Ukrainian fronts. Lieutenant Colonel (1944).
After the war, continued service in the army.
Member of the space program. From April 28, 1956 to June 1960, deputy for political affairs of the head of the Baikonur test site (headed by A. I. Nesterenko ) For participation in the preparation of the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite, he was awarded the Order of Lenin (1957).
Since June 1960, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff and directorates of the Commander-in-Chief of the Missile Forces. Major General (1961).
Since January 1964, the senior inspector of the Political Directorate of the Rocket Forces.
Since April 1974, retired. For some time he taught at the Dzerzhinsky Artillery Academy.
Died August 24, 1990 in Moscow, buried at the Kuntsevo Cemetery .
