Biography
Born on August 1 ( August 14 ), 1908 in the village of Second Borisovskaya (now Lensky District (Arkhangelsk Region) ). He graduated from the LPI named after M.I. Kalinin (1931).
In 1931-1941, 1944-1953 and 1959-1961 he worked at the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization (VIM): graduate student, researcher, team leader, head of the tractor repair laboratory, and since 1959 deputy director for scientific affairs. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1940.
In 1941-1944 he served in the Red Army , a participant in the Great Patriotic War.
In the years 1953-1969 - and. about. Director and Deputy Director for Research, in 1969-1970, senior research fellow of the All-Union N.-i. Technological Institute for Repair and Maintenance of the Machine and Tractor Park (GOSNITI).
In 1968-1970, part-time head of the Department of Repair and Reliability of Machines at the Moscow Institute of Economics and Technology named after V. P. Goryachkin .
Deputy Director of Science (1970), and. about. Director (1971-1972), first deputy. Director for scientific work (1972-1976) of the Siberian Research Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture .
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1959), Professor (1961), Academician of the Agricultural Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1970).
One of the founders of the science of machine repair.

- Stalin Prize of the second degree (1951) - for the development and implementation in agriculture of the methods of restoration repair of the basic parts of old brands tractors
