Silenti, Vira

The real name and surname is Elvira Giovine.

She studied at the Dance Academy in Rome / “Allieva dell'Accademia” under the direction of choreographer Iia Ruskaya / Jia Ruskaja.

She made her debut at the age of 11 in the film directed by Nicola Manzaro “Night after the Opera / Una notte dopo l'opera” (baby Mimmy, 1942). She played children and adolescents in films of the 40s.

In 1953, she played the role of Gisella in the film of the great Italian director Federico Fellini " Sons of the Mom ."

She acted in films until 1969. In the 70s - 80s, she played in television series. She was engaged in dubbing and dubbing films.

After a long break, she played in the movie Sul filo del rasoio (1992).

Died November 1, 2014 in Rome.
