Club career
Du Tua began his rugby career at the Boland Cavaliers club, and in 2011 he joined the Natal Sharks team in the Curry Cup . On March 9, 2012, he made his debut at the Vodakom Cup in the match against Border Bulldogs , which ended in a crushing victory for the 42-0 sharks (du Tua himself made an attempt in it) [1] . On April 21 of the same year, he played his first meeting in the Super Rugby Championship for Sharks , substituting against the Chiefs [2] .
In 2013, he managed to win the “ Natal Sharks ” victory in the Curry Cup , winning the final match of “ Western Provins ” 33-19 [3] .
In 2013, Peter-Stef extended the contract with the “sharks” for two years [4] , but on August 24, 2015, du Tua was announced to be transferred to the Stormers club with the start of the new Super Rugby season [5] .
Team Career
In 2012, Peter-Stef played 8 matches as part of the South African youth team , including taking part in the 2012 home youth world championship [6] , where he defeated the New Zealand national team 22-16 in the final meeting [7] ] .
On November 9, 2013, he played his first match for the Springbox , appearing in the 68th minute of a test game with the team of Wales instead of Eben Ecebet [8] .
On August 28, 2015, du Tua was included in the national team to participate in the World Cup [9] , where he spent 4 matches.
