Biography

Born on September 19, 1906 in the village of Verkhovye, Tver Province. Russian

Member of the CPSU (b) , in the Red Army - from October 1928 to September 1930 (according to the special set of the Moscow Committee of the CPSU (b)) and from May 1932. He graduated from the regimental school of the 48th artillery regiment of the 48th rifle division of the Moscow military district in the city of Kalinin in 1929, Odessa Artillery School named after M.V. Frunze in 1934, two courses of the Leningrad evening department of the Military Academy of the Red Army named after M.V. Frunze (1941) and Higher Courses at the Artillery Academy named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky (1951).

In May 1932, Nekrasov entered the Odessa Artillery School and, after graduating, was left in it - served as platoon, battery commander, party bureau secretary, cadet division commander. In November 1938, Senior Lieutenant M. Ya. Nekrasov was transferred to the 3rd Leningrad Artillery School and at the same time studied at the Leningrad evening department of the Red Army Military Academy, which he did not graduate because of the outbreak of World War II.

During the war, Captain M. Ya. Nekrasov was sent to form the 1st Leningrad Rifle Division of the People’s Militia . On July 3, 1941, he served as chief of staff, and on August 12, the commander of the 1st artillery regiment. Upon completion of the formation, on July 14, 1941, it was transferred to the Luga Task Force to cover the southwestern approaches to Leningrad and from that moment entered into heavy fighting on the Luga defensive line . Under the German offensive, captain M. Ya. Nekrasov took command of this division from September 5. Making his way out of the encirclement, its remnants only managed to break out to their troops only in mid-September. After that, on September 27, the division was disbanded in the 55th Army of the Leningrad Front . For some time Nekrasov was considered missing. [one]

After that, Captain Mikhail Nekrasov from October 25, 1941 accepted the 28th corps artillery order of the Lenin Regiment, which, as part of the 55th and 23rd armies, participated in defensive battles near Leningrad . Since June 1942, he served as chief of artillery of the Volkhov Operational Group of Forces of the Leningrad Front, then - of the Volkhov Front. Since October 1942, he served as deputy commander of artillery of the 54th Army of the same front. From April 12, 1943 until the end of the war, he commanded the 101st howitzer artillery brigade, which was part of the 13th artillery division of the breakthrough of the 3rd Army of the Bryansk Front .

He participated in the Battle of Kursk , in the battles of Orel and Belgorod , in the liberation of Ukraine, in the battle of the Dnieper. In January-February 1945, the brigade and division as part of the 3rd Guards Army of the 1st Ukrainian Front participated in the Sandomierz-Silesian and Lower Silesian offensive operations. In April-May of the same year, she supported the formations of the 60th Army of the 4th Ukrainian Front during the Moravian-Ostrava and Prague offensive operations, participated in the liberation of Czechoslovakia.

After the war, Colonel M. Ya. Nekrasov continued to command this howitzer brigade. Since July 1946, he served as commander of the 154th howitzer artillery brigade as part of the 10th artillery division of the breakthrough of the Belarusian military district in the city of Starye Dorogi . In July 1947 he was transferred to the post of commander of the 117th howitzer artillery brigade in the city of Bobruisk ; since December 1953 he was deputy commander of the 16th cannon artillery division of the RVGK.

In April 1955, Mikhail Yakovlevich was sacked. Information about his future life is missing.
