Biography

Born in 1887 in Shklov (now the Mogilev region , Belarus ). Orphaned early, brought up by his uncle.

He graduated from the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute , worked at the metallurgical plants of the Urals, Donbass and in Siberia on the construction of the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant . Pupil and associate of M.K. Kurako .

In 1921-1929, the assistant manager of the Guryev Metallurgical Plant. He participated in the reconstruction of the enterprise, supervised the construction of a blast furnace, the launch of open-hearth furnaces, and the laying of the Guryevsk-Belovo railway.

In the summer of 1929, at the invitation of I.P. Bardin, he arrived at Kuznetskstroy and headed the technical department of the KMK named after I.V. Stalin . One of the construction managers of the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant.

He died on May 7, 1955 . He was buried in Novokuznetsk next to his friend M.K. Kurako in a birch grove in the Pantheon of Kuznetsk metallurgists.

On February 6, 1968, by decision of the City Council (No. 56), Shkolny Lane on the right bank of the Aba River in the Central District of Novokuznetsk was renamed Kazarnovsky Passage.
