Eropkin, Rafail Dmitrievich

Rafail Dmitrievich Eropkin ( 1868 - after 1917) - Tula provincial leader of the nobility in 1910-1916, stalmaster, member of the State Council for appointment.

From an old noble family . Landowner: patrimonial 446 acres in the Tula province and 1650 acres in the Tambov province.

He graduated from the Katkovsky Lyceum (1886) and the Demidov Law Lyceum with a degree of candidate of legal sciences (1891). In 1893 he was appointed correcting the position of inspector of public schools of the Kharkov-Zmievsky district of the Kharkov province , the following year he was approved in this position, and in 1897 he was dismissed from the service by request.

Upon retirement, he devoted himself to social activities and charity. He was elected the vowel of the Tula district and provincial zemstvo meetings . Since 1892 he was an honorary magistrate of the Tula district. Since 1902 he was elected Tula district, and since 1910 - the provincial leader of the nobility . In addition, he was an honorary member of the Zhelybinsk rural guardianship of orphanages and the chairman of the Tula district trusteeship of orphanages. The rank of full state councilor was received on December 6, 1906, and was granted the rank of chamberlain in 1911.

After the proclamation of the October Manifesto, he became one of the founders of the United Nobility , participated in its congresses as an authorized representative of the Tula nobility. During the First World War, he was a member of the Tula branch of the Committee to provide temporary assistance to victims of military disasters. In 1916 he was promoted to Privy Councilor . On January 1, 1917 he was granted the rank of mastermaster and at the same time, at the initiative of I. G. Shcheglovitov , was appointed a member of the State Council . He was in the right group. May 1, 1917 was left to the state, and upon the abolition of the State Council by the Bolsheviks on December 14, 1917 - was dismissed from service.

Fate after 1917 is unknown. There was a single.
