Race
Felipe Massa ( Ferrari ) won the Bahrain Grand Prix, starting from the pole, and losing the lead only during pit stops. Having also shown a fast lap in the race, Felipe Massa won his first hat-trick (pole, victory, fast lap in one race), and 43 for the Ferrari team.
The second place was taken by the championship debutant Lewis Hamilton ( McLaren ), the third - Kimi Raikkonen ( Ferrari ) - according to the places at the start of the race. Fernando Alonso ( McLaren ), starting fourth, missed the race ahead and Nick Heidfeld ( BMW Sauber ). For the BMW team, taking into account the sixth place of Robert Kubica, the Grand Prix was the best in history.

Felipe Massa won the second consecutive qualification, earning a second consecutive and fifth in his career pole position for himself and third in a season (of 3 stages) for the Ferrari team. Massa showed the best time in all three sessions.
