When submitting documents for entering the family in the Velvet book , two genealogies of the Poltev paintings were provided: Semen (April 6, 1686) and Yury (January 25, 1687) [1] .
The Poltev family was introduced in the II and III parts of the genealogical books of the provinces: Kaluga [2] , Moscow and Tver.
Content
The origin and history of the genus
According to the legends of ancient genealogies , the descendants of the Polish nobleman Yakub Aleksandrovich Poltev , who left Lithuania for Moscow under the Grand Duke Vasily Vasilyevich . Grigory Mikhailovich was a voivod at the Smolensk citizens, who, at Shuya, were marching from Smolensk to Moscow " for the purification of the Moscow state ," later a dull nobleman . His son, Nikita voivod in Kasimov (1620).
