Georgie, Eleanor

For the first time on the big screen, Eleanor Georgie appeared in the episodic role of Made in the film "The Black Belly of the Tarantula" (1971).

The first major female role was Mariuccia in the film directed by Salvatore Sampery “The Unfettered” (1974), where the singer and composer Domenico Modugno became her partner.

She gained fame as a performer of the main female roles in Italian comedies of the 80s. Eleanor Georgie played in duets with famous comedians of Italy Adriano Celentano , Renato Pozzetto , Johnny Dorelli , Carlo Verdone .

In 1979, she married the publisher Angelo Rizzoli , divorced him in 1984. In 1988, she left the cinema, lived with her family and children on a farm. In 1993, she married the Italian actor Massimo Sivarro , divorced again in 1996.

In 2003, Georgie acted as a director, screenwriter, and producer of the film Men and Women, True and False, where she starred Ornella Muti , her main rival in comedies of the 80s.

In 2008, she directed the comedy Last Summer.

Georgie works on the radio, participates in shows on television, starred in television series.
