Biography

John Bartha, I lunghi giorni dell'odio (1968)

In his youth, Barta established himself as a professional footballer. [2]

Arriving in Rome in the early sixties, he soon became one of the most prolific characteristic actors of Italian cinema, his filmography includes more than a hundred paintings. He worked in almost all genres, usually playing episodic and secondary roles and often depicting, thanks to his unique physiognomy, the "prototype of the American."

He was especially active in the field of spaghetti western, where his role as the sheriff who arrested Tuco in the film Sergio Leone the Good, the bad, the evil ( 1966 ) is best known.

He was married to a singer and actress of Hungarian descent Erzi Paal.

Widowed, remarried to an American actress, left the cinema and moved permanently to the United States.
