Biography

Born on February 7, 1892 at the Toksovo station of the Shlisselburg district of the St. Petersburg province in the family of a postal employee. At four years old, he lost his parents and was taken up by his uncle, an employee of the gymnasium, and with his help he graduated from seven classes, enlisting in the first place in 1912 for active military service. World War I

He served in the Russian Imperial Army from October 1912 to February 1918 (with a break). In October 1912 he was enrolled in the 111th Don Infantry Regiment in the city of Kovno , where he graduated from the training team and served as a junior non-commissioned officer . At the end of active service, he was transferred to the reserve. He worked as an employee of the Petrograd main post office. With the outbreak of World War I, in November 1914, he was again mobilized and enlisted as a non-commissioned officer in the 2nd reserve regiment in the city of Oranienbaum . He fought throughout the war in the 313th Infantry Balashovsky Regiment of the 79th Infantry Division , rose to the rank of headquarters captain . In November 1917, commanding a battalion on the Romanian front, he was elected commander of the 313rd Infantry Balashov Regiment, led the regiment from Bessarabia to Russia.

After the October Revolution

After the October Revolution, he served in the Red Army - from February 1918 to April 1938 and from November 1939. During the Civil War , in May 1918, VLD, V. L. After the Civil War he continued to serve in the 22nd Krasnodar Rifle Division, where from July 1921 he commanded the 194th Rifle Regiment of the 55th Rifle Brigade , and from April 1922 - the training regiment of the 66th Personnel Brigade. In August 1922 he was appointed commander of the 111th Infantry Regiment of the 37th Novocherkassk Infantry Division , from February 1924 he commanded the 110th Infantry Regiment of the same division. In September 1924, Malinnikov was transferred to the 33rd Infantry Division as an assistant commander of the 97th Infantry Regiment of Ufa. Since October 1925, he served as senior assistant to the chief of the operational department of the headquarters and temporarily acting chief of staff of the 16th Rifle Corps of the Western Military District . In November 1926 he was appointed commander of the 79th Infantry Regiment of the 27th Omsk Infantry Red Banner Division of the Belarusian Military District. From October 1927 to August 1928 he studied at the courses "Shot". In March 1931 he was transferred to the Moscow Military District as an assistant commander of the 48th Infantry Division . M.I.
