Takida is a rock band from the city of Onge , Sweden. The name of the group is borrowed from the hero of Japanese anime Nagareboshi Gin Gohei Takeda.

History
The Takida group was formed in 1999 in the city of Onge, Sweden. It got its name from Gohei Takeda, a character in the Japanese anime series " Nagareboshi Gin " .
In 2000, they recorded the first demo for the song "Old", and in 2005 Takida signed a contract with the Swedish indie label Ninetone Records. Their first single, entitled "Losing", was released in January 2006, and in April of that year, the release of the first album " ... Make You Breathe" took place. Their second album, " Bury the Lies" , was released in May 2007. In the same year, the song "Curly Sue" topped the hit-parade "Tracks" on the radio "P3s", where she remained for 10 weeks. songs " Handlake village " [1] and " The Things We Owe " [2] also headed this chart.
After the success of the album "Bury The Lies", Takida received a number of proposals from major record labels, but decided to refuse all the offers and record the album The Darker Instinct on their own label " Takida AB ". Its release took place on September 2, 2009. [3]
On August 18, 2009, Takida announced a contract with Roadrunner Records . The first release on this label outside of Scandinavia was the album " Bury The Lies ", which was released in Germany on October 2.
In the fall of 2009, Takida performed together with Theory of a Dead Man during their four concerts in Germany, and also supported The Butterfly Effect during a tour of Germany in the winter of 2009. At the same time, they performed their first concert tour as headlining in Sweden.
September 28, 2012 released their new single " Swallow (Until You're Gone) ", the first song from the collection of hits "A Lesson Learned - The Best Of", which was released at the end of 2012. The album includes two disks, the first of which is a collection of the best tracks of the group, and the second offers the best tracks of Takida in a new version.
On January 7, 2014 a new track is released from their new album " All Turns Red" , entitled " One Lie". The album itself was released on March 12, 2014.
April 22, 2016 released a new album "A Perfect World" . [4] The first single from the new album was the track "Better" . [5] The second single was the track "Don't Wait Up" . [6]
On June 7, 2019, the album Sju appeared on the BMG label. Total tracklist will include 10 tracks.
