The Strasbourg Agreement ( Fr. Arrangement de Strasbourg concerned classification classification ) establishes the International Patent Classification (IPC), which structures engineering fields into eight sections containing about 70,000 rubrics. The classification allows you to determine the "prior art" in the patent search documents. Patent search is carried out, in particular, by the departments of intellectual property, inventors and rationalizers , research institutions and other persons related to the use or creation of technology [3] .
