The common cause (television series)

“General Business” ( English Common Law ) is an American comedy-drama television series, which was aired on USA Network from May 11 to August 10, 2012. Michael Eli and Warren Cole played the roles of two detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department who cannot stand each other, but nevertheless turn out to be partners and are forced to attend therapy for couples to correct this situation.

The series was created by Cormac and Marianne Wibberly and produced by CBS Television Studios and Junction Entertainment. Although initially the premiere of the show was planned on January 26, 2012, the start was postponed to the summer of that year [1] [2] . The premiere took place on Friday, May 11, 2012, after the series “ Mediator Kate ” [3] .

The USA Network closed the show after one season on October 31, 2012 due to low ratings. [4]

Story

Two detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department Department of the Murders Travis Marx ( Michael Ily ) and Wes Mitchell ( Warren Cole ) hate each other. The constant squabble between the two partners forces their boss, captain Mike Sutton ( Jack McGee ), to send them to family therapist Dr. Emma Ryan ( Sonya Walger ), hoping to improve the situation.
