Little Big Town is an American country band. Founded in 1998 in Homewood ( Alabama , USA ). Since its inception, the group consists of four members: Karen Fairchild, Kimberley Rhodes Shlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimmy Westbrook [1] .

Content
History
In the mid-1990s, Karen Fairchild sang as a member of the Truth Christian vocal group and was featured on several of their songs as lead vocalist. She also formed the duo “KarenLeigh” together with Leigh Cappillino (from the group “Point of Grace”). KarenLeigh recorded the singles “Save it For a Rainy Day” and “This Love Has”. In 1987, while studying at Samford University ( Alabama) , she met Kimberly Roads ( Kimberly Roads ). In the end, they went to Nashville , where they began to sing together [2] . Jimi Westbrook, being a friend of her husband Karen Fairchild , joined Rhoads and Fairchild in 1998. They were then joined by Phillip Sweet [1] . Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook were married on May 31, 2006 by Kimberly Rhoads married Stephen Schlapman on November 28, 2006 [3] [4] [5] . Previously, Kimberly was married to Steven Roads , who died of a heart attack in 2005 and was a lawyer for the group. [6] Phillip Sweet married Rebecca Arthur on March 30, 2007. [7]
