Game career
Aleksey Kedryuk, a native of Almaty, began to play tennis by the age of four on the courts of the local army sports club. His trainers in childhood were Venera Bashirova and Lidia Maksimova, but from the age of 13 the boy trained on his own. In 1994, he won his first Kazakhstan championship [1] , and the next year he was invited to the national team of Kazakhstan for the first time at the Davis Cup matches .
Since 1998, Kedryuk acted as a professional, but did not show strong results in professional tennis cycles. His highest successes were several victories in ATP Challenger class tournaments in doubles, and the highest position in the ranking was 123rd (also in pairs, in singles - 261st) [2] . However, he remained a regular player in the national team of Kazakhstan, having played for her 100 meetings in 51 matches. As part of the national team, Kedryuk won 43 of 60 matches in singles and 23 of 40 in pairs; his loyalty to the national team in 2013 was awarded a special ITF award [3] . In Kazakhstan, Kedryuk repeatedly won the national championship and four times became the owner of the President’s Cup [4] . At the Asian tennis championships, he won the championship five times in doubles (including in 2003 with Pakistani Kureshi [5] and in 2007 with Uzbekistani Murod Inoyatov [6] ), and reached the final in singles [1] .
At the final stage of his playing career, in the second decade of the 21st century, Kedryuk, who graduated from the law faculty of the Kazakh-American University in 2007 [1] , is also involved in coaching with promising children [4] .
