Communication

E- communication (communication failure) in the fidonet network (and other networks built according to the same principles) is the failure of network nodes to establish communication with an ekskmuniziruyemy network node. Technically, it is done by eliminating a node from the list of network nodes ( nodelist ) and prohibiting other nodes from transmitting e-communicated node mail under threat of e-communication.

Communication is conducted by NC, RC, ZC or IC (coordinators of a network, regional, zonal or international level). The term of e-communication is determined on the basis of the reasons (unlimited, urgent, until the elimination of problems in the case of technical XAB ).

Communication can be appealed to a coordinator of a higher level (in the case of IC, to the council of coordinators). In this case, communication is carried out by direct messages (due to the lack of communication with other network nodes), the answer is obtained from letters left on the hold , or sent by the coordinator for the specified data directive.
