Startsev , Ananiy Fedorovich , a doctor, the son of a merchant, was born in 1798, was raised on a government account at the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy, in 1819 he was released as a doctor in the Zhitomir infantry. the regiment and in 1822 received the title of headquarters healer. During the Turkish war of 1829, he worked in one of the field hospitals. The medical activity of Startsev in the combat troops continued until 1831, when he moved to a military hospital in Kamenetz-Podolsk , where he took up the post of county doctor three years later, completely leaving the service in the military department. In 1838, however, he returned there (to the Kiev Military Hospital), and two years later (1840) he was appointed chief physician of the military-temporary hospital of the airborne squad in Turkey, where he received a gold medal from the Sultan. Since 1841, Startsev served in the Odessa City Hospital and then in several military hospitals, since 1848 he was the senior doctor of the Hussar regiment Paskevich , in 1852 he was dismissed.
