The section from Michurin Street to the Slavyanka River in 1794–1840 was part of the street along a city shaft (see. Birch Street ).
On July 26, 1840, the site from Michurin Street to Elizavetinskaya Street was given the name Vodoprovodnaya Street , since the open water supply system of Pavlovsk was laid along the street road at the beginning of the 19th century.
Around 1952, Vodprovnaya Street was renamed Pravda Street , in honor of the Pravda newspaper .
The section from Ekaterininskaya to Elizavetinskaya Street was abolished in the 1960s [1] . In this case, the general plan of St. Petersburg is supposed to break through this segment again [2] .
Currently, the only house that carries the address on Pravda Street is the pump house (Pravda Street, 7a) [3] .
Truth Street on the water bridge crosses the river Tyzvu .
