Biography

He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute named after S. Ordzhonikidze and was left at the department as an assistant.

In 1939, together with a group of teachers, graduate students and senior students, he was enrolled in the KB-2 MAI for the design of the M-250 engine.

Then this design bureau was called OKB-250, since 1943 in Rybinsk , since June 25, 1946 OKB-36-1 at plant No. 36, since 1947 the Shcherbakov enterprise of PO Box 106 - OKB-36 MAP, since 1957 - the Rybinsk Enterprise PO 106 - OKB-36 MAP, from October 1, 1966 - Rybinsk KBM.

Head of Strength and Design and Research, in the 1950s - Deputy Chief Designer.

Awards and Prizes

  • Stalin Prize of the first degree (1951) - for work in the field of creating the VD-4K engine.
