A pupil of the Karaganda specialized children and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in athletics. Trainer Vyacheslav Orlov. Specialized in high jump .
Champion of the USSR.
Silver medalist of the summer Spartakiad of the peoples of the USSR in 1983 .
Silver medalist "Friendship-84" , and all three medalists showed the same result - 1.96.
USSR master of sports of international class .
The personal record (198 cm), established in 1984, was the record of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
