Career
Club
A native of the Western Cape, he played for the Stormers team in South Africa and won the Curry Cup twice in 2000 and 2001 [1] , but did not play at full strength due to a total of eleven injuries shoulder. In the 2001/2002 season, he played for Ulster, but played only one match in the Celtic League, having spent 40 minutes on the field [2] . At the end of the season he completed his playing career.
Team
In the national team of South Africa, he played only 2 games, but was in the application for the 1995 World Cup and became the world champion. Matches played:
- May 30, 1995 , against Romania , victory 21: 8.
- June 3, 1995 , against Canada , a 20-0 win.
Beyond Rugby
Brink is married, he has children - Emily and Daniel. He lives with his family in Cork and is engaged in business (owner of the Brink Property company), often traveling to his homeland [3] . In addition to the South African national team, his family supports the Irish national team and even sings the anthem of the Irish national team during matches [4] .
