Geography

The village of Krestnikovo is located on the banks of the Biryuch River, about 7 kilometers (on the highway) from the district center of Bolshoy Nagatkino [2] , the height of the village center above sea level is 106 m [3] .

History

The founder of the village was a soldier of the elected regiment Dmitry Krestnikov in 1672. By 1813, there were 110 yards in the village with a population of 706 people (357 men and 349 women). When the peasants were freed from Serfdom in 1861, there were 115 yards in the village with a population of 423 people. The main occupation in the village: gardening and horse breeding. From 1861 to 1865 (1869), a temple with two thrones was built. The main (cold) in the name of the Life-Giving Trinity, as well as in the aisle (warm) in the name of the Archangel Michael of God. The church was purchased at the expense of the peasants in the village of Norovka from the landowner A.V. Novoseltseva. A parish school was opened in 1872, and in 1877 a zemstvo school was opened. As of 1900, more than 1900 people lived in the village (about 260 yards). February 23, 1918, according to the results of the national assembly, Soviet power was established in the village. A village council was created, in the amount of 28 people, Sergey Savvatov was elected the first chairman. Since 1929, the creation of collective farms begins:

Infrastructure

In the village there are: feldsher point, secondary school, SEC "Krestnikovsky", village council. In October 2015, the village opened a kindergarten "Sun", a volunteer Russian vocal team. In 1972, a monument to the fallen soldiers during the Great Patriotic War was erected in the village, in 2010 the monument was repaired, it was tiled. On the plates are written the names of the fallen soldiers of the villagers. [6]
