Geography
Located in the north of the province. Borders in the north with the province of Heredia . The administrative center is San Juan .Canton de Tibas is located is located 35 kilometers north of the city of Provincia de San Jose. In the south, 4 kilometers is the Museum of Numismatics and Pre-Columbian Gold, Museum of Gold (4 km), National Theater in San Jose (4 km). On southwest (4 kilometers) is Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica Stadium, Costa Rica National Stadium (4 km).
