The Complete Recordings is a collection of musical compositions by an American singer, guitarist, songwriter and one of the most famous bluesmen of the 20th century , Robert Johnson . Released on August 28, 1990 via Columbia Records . Work on the album was conducted in 1936-1937. Recordings were made in Dallas and San Antonio for . Most of the songs first appeared on a phonograph record in 1937. The Complete Recordings included all of Johnson's acclaimed compositions, with the exception of the Traveling Riverside Blues alternative take.
