The Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God at the Bugrovsky cemetery is an Orthodox Old Believer church of the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church , located on the Bugrovsky (Red) cemetery in Nizhny Novgorod .

History
The church was built in the period from 1914 to 1916 [1] according to the project of the architect V. A. Pokrovsky , but the interior decoration was not completed due to revolutionary events .
In the 1930s, the church was transferred for use by the Orthodox community, but was soon finally closed.
In the 1960s, the church building was transferred to the Old Believer community [2] [3] instead of the demolished Old Believer church in the street, demolished in the summer of 1965. The vanity from which all the utensils were transferred.
Currently, the temple is the cathedral of the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir diocese of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church . Rector is Archpriest Mikhail Shashkov; the second priest is Priest Sergiy Laptev.
