History

USSR

In January 1944, the Rostov regional party courses were created .

In October 1944, the party courses were transformed into the Rostov regional party school . [1] By October 1950, 554 party and Soviet leaders, including 168 secretaries of city and district CPSU committees, as well as chairmen of executive committees , had graduated from it. [2]

On July 18, 1956, the party school was transformed into the Rostov Interregional Higher Party School . [3]

In June 1991, the party school was renamed the North Caucasus Socio-Political Institute .

Russia

In January 1992, the institute became the North Caucasus Personnel Center ( SCCC ) under the General Directorate for Training Personnel for the Public Service under the Government of the Russian Federation. [four]

In May 1995, the personnel center was transformed into the North Caucasus Academy of State Service ( SKAGS ).

On September 20, 2010, SKAGS was affiliated to the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration as the South-Russian Institute as a branch. [five]

In 2014, the South-Russian Institute was renamed the South-Russian Institute of Management.
