Igor Nikolaevich Grigoriev (August 17, 1923, the village of Sitovichi , Pskov Province - January 16, 1996, the village of Yukki , Leningrad Region ) - a Russian poet and translator. The creator and first chairman of the Pskov branch of the Writers' Union , during the Great Patriotic War, led the underground in the Strugo-Krasnensky district , fought in brigade intelligence of the 6th Leningrad partisan brigade . Since 2014, the St. Petersburg branch of the Writers' Union of Russia and the Poet's Memory Foundation each year hold an international poetry competition named after Igor Grigoriev, as well as a reading named after Igor Grigoriev.

Biography
Childhood
Igor Nikolaevich Grigoriev was born on August 17, 1923 on a farm near the village of Sitovichi (now in the Porkhovsky district of the Pskov region) in the family of Marya Vasilyevna [1] and Nikolai Grigorievich Grigoriev. The poet's father is the George Knight of the First World War , a member of the Brusilovsky breakthrough [2] . Five years old, Igor Grigoriev wrote his first poem [3] . The poet's childhood passed away in learning the mysteries of nature: “... The forest has always been my bosom friend and second home. And until now we are with the forest on you ... " [4] . Fishing and hunting were not only a salvation from want, but also a sincere addiction of Igor Grigoriev.
The hard times of World War II
The Great Patriotic War, Igor Grigoriev, met an eighteen-year-old youth on the territory of the occupied Pskov land [5] . He initiated the creation of an underground group in the village of Plyussa , led it before joining the local partisans (a special group of Timofey Ivanovich Egorov), then served in brigade intelligence of the 6th Leningrad Partisan Brigade [6] under the leadership of Viktor Pavlovich Obedkov . Underground name is Captain Igor [7] . He was wounded four times, contused twice, awarded the orders of the Great Patriotic War of the I and II degrees , with medals: " For Courage ", " Partisan of the Great Patriotic War ", " For Victory in the Great Patriotic War " [8] . Lost during the war years a lot of close people, among them the brother of Lev Nikolaevich Grigoriev [9] , the comrade in battle, Lyubov Smurova, to whom the poem “The Last Bolshak” is dedicated [10] . All the poetry collections of Igor Grigoriev touch upon the theme of war, loss, fortitude of the Russian people. The collection “Nabat” is entirely devoted to the hard times of terrible wartime [11] .
Poetic path
After the war, he restored his health in the hospital [12] , then he worked as a hunter in the Kostroma wilderness , a photographer in the Vologda region , a geologist at Baikal , a bourgeoisie at the bakery, a loader in the printing house. In 1949, Igor Grigorev entered the Russian department of the Faculty of Philology of the Leningrad University , from which he graduated in 1954. The diploma supervisor was writer Fedor Abramov , who later became a close friend of Igor Grigoriev and his family [13] .
In 1953, he married Diana Vasilyevna Grigorieva (Zakharova) ( philologist , founder of Pushkin Lyceum, author of books about Igor Grigoriev, “Is there no God here?”) [14] and Lyceum Meetings [15] .
In 1960, in Lenizdat , the first collection of the poet “Dear friends” [16] was published, the total number of Igor Grigoriev’s lifetime poetry collections was twenty-two. In 1963, Igor Grigoriev was accepted into the Union of Writers of the USSR. In the late 60s, the poet returned to Pskov . This period of life is associated with the creation of the Pskov branch of the Writers' Union, which was headed by Grigoriev. In Pskov, Igor Grigoriev married for the second time - to the poet Svetlana Moleva .
Valentin Rasputin , Vasily Belov , Fedor Abramov , Victor Astafyev , Nikolai Rubtsov , Valentin Pikul , Gleb Gorbovsky , Stanislav Zolotsev , Vladislav Shoshin and many others visited the poet's Pskov house. The world famous artist Ilya Glazunov painted his portrait [17] . Portraits of the Dagestan artist Salavat Salavatov and the Pskov artist Alexander Alexandrov [18] are also known. Grigoriev was closely acquainted with hieromonk Roman Matyushin , Alexander Tvardovsky . On the verses of Igor Grigoriev, the composer Julian Crane wrote romances , Vitaly Saltykov created a cycle of songs based on the poet's verses.
Igor Grigoriev writes a lot, often at night, almost every year a new collection of poems of the poet is published. It is noteworthy that Igor Grigoriev painstakingly works on already published works, again and again amending the finished text. The main place in the poetry of Igor Grigoriev is occupied by love - love for the Motherland, Russia , native land, people, nature, woman, life. His poetry is peculiar in language and style, which includes both modern, lively spoken language, and traditions of oral folk-poetry, and Russian literary classics. Grigoriev belonged precisely to that galaxy of poets who were asked by a “strict question” - to be or not to be Russia? [19] Igor Grigoriev is the author of the poems “Paths”, “Bells”, “Abode”, “Two hundred first versts”, “Russian lesson” [20] , “Blessed devil's way” [21] , as well as the autobiographical story “Everything will be shredded " [22] , a cycle of six stories about the nature of" Earth and Water ", the play" Black Days ". . Together with the Pskov writer Vasily Kirillov, he wrote the novel "The Circle of Fire" [23] . Igor Grigoriev was engaged in poetic translations from the Baltic languages, from Ukrainian, Belarusian, Azerbaijani, Even, Mari, Kalmyk, Komi, Khanty and even from Bengali. Many young Pskov poets found support with Igor Grigoriev, among them: Lev Malyakov, Svetlana Moleva , Elena Rodchenkova, Alexander Gusev, Enver Zhemlikhanov, Valery Mukhin. Igor Grigoriev compiled books of Pskov poets and writers: “Sparkling Dew” (1966), “Meetings” (1974), “We are Pskov” (1990).
The third wife of Igor Grigoriev - Elena Nikolaevna Morozkina - art historian, restorer-architect, poetess, candidate of art history , member of the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Writers of Russia.
The poet died on January 16, 1996 in the village of Yukki, Leningrad Region. Before his death, Igor Grigoriev confessed and took communion . The mother of the poet, Marya Vasilyevna, whom he had loved and cherished all his life, died the day before. Over the grave of the poet in the village of Yukki installed a chapel . In Pskov , on the house where Igor Grigoriev lived (Riga Avenue, 57), a memorial plaque was installed [24] .

Daughter - Maria Igorevna Kuzmina (mother - Margarita Kuzmina) was born in 1966, poetess [29] .

Memory

Annual Igor Grigoriev Poetry Competition
Since 2014, the St. Petersburg branch of the Writers' Union of Russia and the memory fund of the poet and warrior Igor Grigoriev have announced the annual international poetry contest named after Igor Grigoriev. The 2014 competition is called “I can’t imagine myself without Russia”, the 2015 competition is “There is no need for the soul, except for the Motherland and the sky”, 2016 - “The soul opened the door for goodness”, 2017 - “Only the Russian soul is in the wind not to let it go - nowhere! ”, 2018 -“ There is one earth axis for all ”. The next competition will be held in 2020 and will be called “I Believe in Spring Russia” [30] . According to the results of the competition in 2014, 2015, 2016,2017,2018, collections of poems of the finalists of the competition were published [31] .
International Conference (Readings) named after Igor Grigoriev
The first reading of the name of Igor Grigoriev “Word. Fatherland. Vera ”was held in 2014 in Pushkin House (Institute of Russian Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences) - St. Petersburg [32] . The materials of the first International Scientific Conference were published by the book “The Word. Fatherland. Vera". The second international reading of the name of Igor Grigoriev “Word. Fatherland. Vera ”was held in 2015. The theme of the conference: "Russian literature and the problems of ethnosocial consolidation of the people." The third conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the poet was held on November 20, 2018, the theme “Russian culture and national identity in an era of crisis” [33] .
Memorial medal "Poet and Warrior Igor Nikolaevich Grigoriev (1923-1996)"
The memorial medal "The Poet and Warrior Igor Nikolaevich Grigoriev (1923-1996)" was instituted. Awarded by decision of the Fund of the poet’s memory to writers, literary critics, scholars, philologists, journalists, cultural and art workers, teachers for their great contribution to the preservation and development of culture, Russian literature, traditions of patriotic education, and for studying and popularizing the artistic heritage of Igor Grigoriev [ 34] .
Igor Grigoriev Library
The branch of the Central Library System of Pskov - the Center for communication and information on the street. Yubileynaya, 87a [35] , was named after the poet Igor Grigoriev. The initiative to assign the name to this institution was made by: the staff of the Central Library System of Pskov, the Foundation for the Memory of the Poet I.N. Grigoriev, the Writers Union of Russia and its Pskov Regional Branch, the Minsk Branch of the Writers' Union of Belarus [36] .
International campaign “Reading Grigoriev together”
The initiator of the action is the Library. I.N. Grigorieva. On January 16, 2018, on the day of memory of I. Grigoriev, the first large-scale international action “We read Grigoriev together” [37] was held . About a thousand people took part in the action. In libraries, museums, schools of cities and villages of the Pskov, Vladimir, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Leningrad, Bryansk and Rostov regions, the Altai Territory, the city of St. Petersburg, the city of Donetsk, the city of Gorodka, the city of Braslav, the Vitebsk region, the Nenets Autonomous District events were held during which the best works of I.N. Grigoriev were read aloud.
The second large-scale international campaign “We read Grigoriev together” took place on January 16, 2019 [38] . 2322 people took part in the action, 90 settlements. In libraries and schools of cities, villages and villages of the Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Vologda, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kurgan, Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Moscow, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Pskov, Rostov, Rostov, Samarkan, Samara, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Moscow, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Pskov, Rostov, Rostovskiy , Sverdlovsk, Tambov and Tver regions, the Altai Territory, the Chuvash Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Buryatia, as well as in 5 cities of the Republic of Belarus sounded the poetry of the Pskov nugget.
