Grotto, Nicholas

Nicholas Groth ( English A. Nicholas Groth ), Ph.D. - American clinical psychologist , consultant to the Institute for the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children at St. Joseph's College of Connecticut . He is a winner of the National Organization for Victim Assistance Stephen Schaefer Award for outstanding services.

Since 1966, the Grotto specializes in sexual violence . In 1971 he defended his thesis at the University of Boston on the classification of pedophiles [1] . Grotto is the author of a typology of pedophiles and a typology of sexual rapists [2] .
