From 1887 to 1911 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies from the Center Party , from 1898 to 1918 he was also a deputy of the Reichstag .
From 1919 to 1920 he was a deputy of the Bavarian Landtag from the Bavarian People's Party .
Yeager adhered to a “socially conservative” point of view, but at the same time was able to maintain impartiality. In his “Agrarian Question” there is no system, but a huge amount of factual material and a lot of good judgments have been collected.
