Biography

Momo is a graduate of the Las Palmas Club. From 2001 to 2003 he played for Las Palmas Atlético , the reserve team of the club. On February 2, 2003, he made his debut in Segund in the Las Palmas away match against Elche , replacing him in the 82nd minute [2] . The following season, Momo regularly appeared in the starting lineup of the Canaries, scoring 3 goals for the tournament. For the first time in the Segunda, he scored on January 31, 2004 in a home match with the same Elche [3] . In the 2007/08 season, Momo was also on loan at the Jerez Segunda Club. In this team, he regularly appeared on the field during the season, and Sherry took 15th place in the final table. The next season was historic for Jerez and the best in Momo’s career. The Andalusian team won the right to play in the Example for the first time in its history, and Momo with 17 goals became its top scorer in that championship. The rights to the footballer by that time already belonged to Sherry. For “Sherry” in Example 2009/10, Momo spent 26 matches and scored 2 goals (all against Malaga in the away win with a score of 4: 2) [9] .

Momo spent the next year and a half in Betis , who, with him, achieved a return to Example. In the elite division for Betis, Momo spent a little over 20 minutes on the field and at the beginning of 2012 returned to his native Las Palmas, playing at that time in Segund. In Segunda with Las Palmas, Momo spent the next 3-plus years, regularly appearing in the starting lineup and scoring up to 7 goals per season. Following the results of the 2014/15 championship , Las Palmas with Momo returned to Example.
