Club career

Silva is a graduate of the Cerro Cora Club. In 2003, he moved to Libertad . In the Libertadores Cup match against the Argentinean River Plate , Anthony helped the team win the famous victory [1] . Despite these achievements, he could not win the competition and in 2005, on a leasehold basis, transferred to General Caballero . In the same year, the Italian “ Genoa ” bought part of the rights to it; Silva never performed in Italy . In 2006, Harry Redknapp was interested in inviting Anthony to the English “ Portsmouth ” [2] , but the goalkeeper did not agree with the requirements of the contract and went on loan on May 2 .

In 2007, Silva finally left Libertad and moved to Takuari [3] . Anthony helped his new club break into the Libertadores Cup. In 2008, he briefly played on loan for the Argentinean Taglieres , and then moved to the Brazilian club Mariglia .

In 2009, Anthony returned to his homeland, where he became the Rubio New footballer. At the end of the season, he left the team and moved to the Colombian “ Deportes Tolima ”, despite the steady interest from the American “ New York Red Bulls ” [4] . On July 19, in his match against Deportivo Cali , he made his debut in the Mustang Cup [5] . In the first season, he helped the club take second place in the championship. Silva won the place of the main goalkeeper and spent three seasons with almost no substitutions, having played more than 100 matches.

In early 2014, he returned to his homeland, becoming a football player on the club “ February 3 ”. On March 1, in a fight against October 12, Anthony made his debut for a new team [6] . Having played the season, Silva again went to Colombia , where he signed an agreement with Independente Medellin . On January 31, in his match against Onse Caldas , he made his debut for a new team [7] . In the first season, Anthony helped Medellin take second place.

International Career

On November 15, 2012, in a friendly match against the Guatemalan national team, Silva made his debut for the Paraguayan national team [8] .

In 2015, Anthony was included in the application for the American Cup in Chile . In the tournament, he played in matches against Jamaica [9] and Argentina [10] .

In 2016, Silva took part in the America's Cup in the United States . At the tournament he was a substitute and did not enter the field.
