Story

The viewer is shown a close-up of the face of a young man standing against the wall [1] . His facial expressions and gestures show that he enjoys something that is invisible to the viewer. At times he looks bored, at times thoughtful, sometimes he looks directly at the camera, clearly realizing that he is being filmed. At the 25th minute, he lights a cigarette.

About the movie

The film was shot on Sunday in January 1964.

For a long time there was debate about who played the role of doing a blowjob. It was assumed that this is a close friend of Warhol, a poet, photographer and filmmaker Gerard Malanga . In his book (1980), Warhol himself stated that five young men played this invisible role at once. Today, with a great deal of certainty, it can be stated that this role was played by the filmmaker and poet .

In 1966, Warhol filmed the sequel, the tape , originally called "Blowjob No. 2". It is noticeably longer: 67 minutes, and with sound.
