Aleppo International Airport ( Arabic. مطار حلب الدولي ) is an international airport located in the suburbs of the city of Aleppo , Syria .

Content
History
The airport appeared at the beginning of the 20th century and after that was constantly improved. In 1999, a modern terminal was opened.
During the civil war, the airport suspended its work from December 2012 until January 22, 2014 .
On December 22, 2016, the airport opened for work [1] .
Military base
The Nairab Air Force Base of the Syrian Air Force is also deployed here, MiG-23 aircraft are deployed on it, and according to some sources, military equipment from Russia and Iran was supplied through it in 2013 [2] .
